Pepti AI: Tracker App is a different app from "Peptides Playground - Pepti AI", "Pep AI", "PepAI: Smart Peptide Log" and "Peppi AI", which are made by other developers.
Pepti AI, launching late 2026, stores your GLP-1 and peptide shot log in an encrypted store on your iPhone itself with daily snapshots and the last 20 saved versions kept automatically, migrations covered by tests, and one-tap backup files you hold — nothing is stored in iCloud (App Review guideline 5.1.3), and nothing is wiped by an update. Its Pepti assistant also runs on the device via Apple Foundation Models (iOS 26+), with the same card flow from a rule-based parser on older devices, so your log does not need to leave your phone for the AI to answer from it. The two established trackers both list third-party advertising or analytics data on their App Store privacy labels.

What "keeps your data on your iPhone" means here
- Local encrypted store. Your journal lives on the device, not in our cloud.
- Snapshots and saved versions. Daily snapshots and the last 20 saved versions are kept automatically, and the app tells you if it ever restores from one; migrations between app versions are covered by tests.
- You hold the backup. Export a backup file with one tap, keep it wherever you like, import it back. Pepti AI never syncs your log to iCloud; an iCloud device backup contains it only in encrypted form.
- On-device AI. The assistant reads your log locally to answer questions like "how did my weight trend since I started?", with no message caps. Declining dosing questions happens on-device too, with a clear reason and a suggestion to talk to your prescriber.
- No ads, no product sales. There is nothing to retarget.

FAQ
Does Pepti AI require an account?
No. There is no account at all for the core app; the log stays in the local encrypted store.
Does the AI send my log to a server?
No. The assistant runs on your device via Apple Foundation Models on iOS 26+, and a rule-based parser provides the same confirm-card flow on devices without Apple Intelligence.
What if I lose my iPhone?
Your backup is a file you exported and hold yourself — in iCloud Drive if you choose, or anywhere else. Import it back with one tap. Pepti AI never syncs your log to iCloud itself; an iCloud device backup contains it only in encrypted form.
Could an update wipe my log?
That is the single most-reported complaint about the incumbents (31% and 36% of their 1–3-star reviews). Pepti AI's answer is structural: daily snapshots and the last 20 saved versions kept automatically, migrations covered by tests, and a standing design rule that nothing is ever wiped by an update.
Does it write to Apple Health?
With your permission, Pepti AI reads Health data to show in Progress; only body weight is stored in your log and written to Health. Other Health data is shown without being stored by Pepti AI. It does not write HealthKit medications.
Do reminders work without signing in?
Reminders are part of the free core and, like the log, need no account.
When does it launch?
Late 2026, on iPhone. It is not on the App Store yet.
