Getaway Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of Getaway: Hide & Seek, published by Mister Business Enterprises LLC, a company in the United States (“we”, “us”). By using the app, you agree to these terms.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Getaway for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and any applicable Apple terms. You do not own the app or its code. Do not copy, resell or distribute the app, or interfere with its operation, except where the law allows it.
Play with consent
- Only play with people who have agreed to take part. Do not use Getaway to track anyone who did not agree to play.
- Do not harass, threaten or harm other people.
- Respect property, local laws and trail rules. Stay off private land without permission.
- Choose a play area and mode that are lawful and suitable for everyone taking part.
Safety is your responsibility
Getaway is not a safety device. SOS alerts only the players in your game, not emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Obey laws and trail rules. Stay off private land without permission and wear protective gear. Never use the phone while moving; stop somewhere safe first.
Getaway is meant for ages 13 and over. Younger players should play with an adult in the Sweep seat.
Outdoor play and riding carry risks, including injury and property damage. You are responsible for deciding whether to play, where to go and when to stop. The optional Sweep seat does not replace adult supervision or emergency services.
Location scans are blurred and periodic. Phone location, signal, battery and notifications can fail or be delayed. Do not rely on the app to keep anyone safe or to locate someone in an emergency.
Your data
The Privacy Policy explains how the game handles location and other data, how long it is kept, and your choices.
No warranty
We provide Getaway as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always work, be accurate, be available or meet your needs.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by service interruptions, inaccurate or delayed location information, lost data, or other players’ actions. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or takes away rights that the law does not let us exclude or limit.
Apple’s standard EULA
For downloads from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Getaway is coming to iPhone and is not yet available on the App Store.
