Decide what still matters

Keep captures that contain information you still need. Back up important records before starting; a screenshot is not disposable merely because it is old.

Filter and inspect

Select unwanted captures in Photos, or use the screenshot and screen-recording filters in Phone Swipe Media. Open images full screen and play recordings; keep useful items, queue unwanted ones and set uncertain ones aside for later.

Review the final batch

Open the queue and rescue mistakes or restore all before confirming. With iCloud Photos, deletion applies across synced devices. Check Recently Deleted after an accidental deletion; items normally remain there for 30 days unless permanently deleted sooner.

Availability and languages

Phone Swipe Media is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, requiring iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later. These guide translations do not establish app interface languages or regional availability. Check your local App Store.

Questions and answers

Can I review screen recordings as well as screenshots?

Yes. Phone Swipe Media has filters for both and can play videos before you decide.

Will a left swipe delete a screenshot immediately?

No. It queues the item; you can rescue it before the final device confirmation.

Does the app decide which screenshots are safe to delete?

You make that decision. Inspect each item and use Later when you are unsure.
